Performing Art Classes

Our performing arts classes and workshops are designed to build confidence, enhance communication skills, and encourage students of all ages to take risks in a variety of creative experiences. Adults, teens, and children work in a safe supportive environment to develop skills and have fun.

Improv Comedy 1: Basics

In this class we will learn technical improvisational skills that are necessary for performance. These are skills that benefit actors, comedians, public speakers and people alike. No experience is required to learn and have a good time in this high energy class. Students will learn and play fun theater games as well as a basic introduction to improv history.

This class is for students with previous improv and comedy experience, or those who have completed Improv Comedy 1 and what to keep the laugh going. This class will build on the previous knowledge of each individual student with a concentration on performance. This class will culminate with a public performance.
